BEM SI Disbanded In An Orderly Manner, PPMI Masses Came To Voice The Perppu To Cancel The Job Creation Law

JAKARTA - Demonstrators from the Indonesian Student Executive Board (BEM SI) disperse in an orderly manner from the Horse Statue area, Central Jakarta. After that, it was the Indonesian Muslim Workers' Brotherhood (PPMI) to come to voice the same aspirations, rejecting the Omnibus Law on the Job Creation Law.

Based on VOI monitoring, the BEM SI mass dispersed at around 16.23 WIB, Friday, October 16. This crowd was met by the Special Staff of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) Aminuddin Ma'ruf. Demonstrators voiced rejection of the Omnibus Law on the Job Creation Law.

In his oration, the demonstrators called the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin's government problematic. They gave red report cards to the Jokowi administration.

"Our struggle is not just today, we will continue in a year Jokowi-Ma'ruf," shouted the orator amidst the crowd of demonstrating students.

After BEM SI disbanded, the PPMI crowd arrived at around 16.38 WIB. Only a few dozen minutes, the PPMI mass demanding the issuance of the Perppu canceled the Job Creation Law, then disbanded.

Currently, a police barricade is still on standby. Other policemen were also seen near the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
