Good News, Tomorrow People In Jakarta Can Enjoy CFD At 6 Points
JAKARTA - The Car Free Day (CFD) policy in Jakarta was reopened on Sunday, May 22. CFD was stopped during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
"That's right, it was decided for Car Free Day to be re-implemented," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo when confirmed, Saturday, May 21.
The decision to re-implement this policy is based on the results of coordination with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov).
In its implementation, Car Free Day will start from 06.00 to 10.00 WIB. Then, there are six points of application of the policy.
Starting from, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan MH. Thamrin, Jalan Sisingamangaraja (Building Youth Statue up to CSW), South Jakarta.
Then, Jalan Tomang Raya (starting from Simpang Tomang to Business Hotel Tomang), West Jakarta. There is also on Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan (Simpang Karya Beton to GOR Sunter).
Furthermore, Suryo Pranoto Street (Harmony Intersection to Tarakan Hospital Intersection), Central Jakarta, and Pemuda Street (Arion Intersection to TU-GAS Intersection), East Jakarta.
However, in implementing this policy, there are four conditions that must be met by the community. The goal is to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"The provisions are only for sports activities, without the activities of participants and street vendors, scab the QR Code Care for Protection or show a second vaccination certificate, and apply health protocols," he concluded.
