Anies Quips About ITF Development Stalling, DPRD: Laying The First Stone But No Second Stone
JAKARTA - Chair of Commission D of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDIP Fraction, Ida Mahcepat, highlighted the stagnation in the construction of the intermediate treatment facility (ITF) so far.
In fact, one of the ITFs located in the Sunter area, North Jakarta has carried out groundbreaking or groundbreaking since 2018. However, with various obstacles, the development has not been implemented.
Ida then insinuated that the ITF development had stalled, which was targeted to be built at these four points.
"ITF is at 4 points, there have been many groundbreakings, it turns out that so far there is no second stone," said Ida at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Thursday, May 19.
The DKI Provincial Government is indeed trying to accelerate the development of waste management before the term of office of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan ends next October.
Therefore, Ida admitted that he was waiting for further news from the two BUMDs tasked with building the ITF, namely PT Jakarta Propertindo and Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya.
"Hopefully there are still a few months left, there is good news from Jakpro and Sarana Jaya. Even though the construction will only take a few bricks, at least there will be construction in the next few months, right," said Ida.
Some time ago, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Environmental Service, Asep Kuswanto, admitted that he would pursue the target of building a number of intermediate treatment facilities (ITF).
He targets the ITF to start construction in mid-2022 or before the term of office of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan ends.
The ITF development, said Asep, was included in one of the programs that Anies had instructed to do immediately. The ITF is included in Ingub Number 49 of 2021 concerning the Settlement of Regional Priority Issues for 2021-2022.
"Indeed, the ITF is part of the governor's promise. At the very least, there must be progress. In the future, we can accelerate it. The target is to start construction by the middle of next year," said Asep, some time ago.
The DKI Provincial Government plans to build ITFs in four locations, namely ITF Sunter in North Jakarta, then ITF in West Jakarta, East Jakarta, and South Jakarta. The Sunter ITF and the western region are managed by the BUMD PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro). Meanwhile, the ITF for the eastern and southern regions is carried out by Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya.
Currently, Jakpro's Sunter ITF progress has begun to enter pre-construction. In the ITF development plan in the western region, Jakpro has collaborated with the PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA)-PT Indoplas Karya Energi (Indoplas) consortium for the construction process.
Meanwhile, the ITF in the eastern and southern regions being worked on by Sarana Jaya is still in the process of selecting the tender winner as a construction partner.
