Economical Talking About Formula E, Riza Patria: Don't Ask The Deputy Governor
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria, in recent times, has been efficient in talking about preparations for the implementation of Formula E.
When asked about the electric car racing event in the Ancol area, Riza threw it at PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as the BUMD organizer.
"Please ask Jakpro directly as the organizer. Of course, Jakpro and Ancol will consider everything," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Wednesday, May 18.
According to this Gerindra Party politician, not all DKI Provincial Government programs, especially sports activities with a business to business scheme such as Formula E, can be asked of him.
"So, don't ask the Deputy Governor all these things. Cook, the Deputy Governor takes care of such things? For Formula E, ask Jakpro," he said.
Previously, the chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Gembong Warsono, admitted that he was surprised by the secrecy of the Formula E sponsorship, which has not been revealed until now. In fact, Formula E is held in less than three weeks.
BUMD PT Jakpro as the organizer has claimed that Formula E already has a sponsor who finances the race. However, Gembong questioned why the sponsor had not been announced. Given, the purpose of a party sponsoring an activity, they want their name displayed for promotional purposes.
"He said sponsors don't want to be announced. Where are sponsors who don't want to be announced? Logically, the sponsor's name, yes, is displayed, to promote himself," said Gembong when contacted, Tuesday, May 17.
Gembong is also pessimistic about the readiness of the electric car race to be held in Ancol. Likewise, the claim of the executive committee that Formula E can gain profits of up to Rp1.4 trillion.
"Calculating profits should not be carried away. I believe that profit does not mean that BUMD gets a real profit, but the multilevel effect is calculated," said Gembong.
