Received The Trust To Distribute IDR 40 Trillion KUR, Bank Mandiri Has Realized IDR 14.4 Trillion Until April 2022

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk continues to improve lending to the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) segment. One of them is through the people's business credit (KUR) which has reached Rp. 14.4 trillion until the end of April 2022.

This year, the mandatory distribution of KUR from the government to Bank Mandiri is IDR 40 trillion. This means that the realization until April has reached 36 percent.

SEVP Micro and Consumer Finance Bank Mandiri Josephus K. Triprakoso said the funds flowed to 133,000 debtors throughout Indonesia. For this reason, the company is committed to being more active in encouraging lending to MSMEs to spur economic growth more broadly.

"This policy is able to make a significant contribution to the development of the people's economy in Indonesia," he said on Wednesday, May 18.

"This amount has increased compared to the 2021 ceiling of IDR 35 trillion," he said.

Josephus added that the distribution of KUR also supports the realization of the company's credit to MSME business actors. It was noted that by the end of March 2022, Bank Mandiri's total MSME loans had reached Rp. 198.8 trillion, or grew by 11.12 percent from the previous year's period.

"Bank Mandiri's KUR in 2022 will remain focused on the leading productive sectors in each region, including agriculture, fisheries, processing industries, and production services supported by synergy from all business segments, strong coordination throughout the network, and cooperation. strategically with financial and e-commerce companies," he said.
