Still Trying To Forget Defeat To Bivol, Canelo Vacations On Mykonos Island Celebrates Wedding Anniversary
JAKARTA - After losing to Dmitry Bivol on May 7 in Las Vegas, boxer Saúl "Canelo" lvarez took the opportunity to escape on vacation with his wife Fernanda Gómez and celebrate their first year of marriage.
In a post on his wife's Instagram, Canelo is seen having fun in Greece, less than two weeks after the Mexican boxer's last fight.
In the first video he posted on the island of Mykonos, Canelo smiles as he celebrates his first year of marriage with a message from his wife, which reads:
"Happy first birthday with the love of my life to be together more. I love sharing my life with you! My complete love," wrote Fernanda with dedication to Canelo.
In a photo that shows only her, Fernanda is seen enjoying the warm weather, although she also posted a story showing what they ate at the beach.
While Canelo is enjoying a few days off with his wife, it is unknown what his next plans for his career are.
So far, there has been a lot of talk about a possible rematch with Dmitry Bivol or a trilogy with Gennady Golovkin.
Canelo had already agreed to fight GGG - Golovkin's nickname -, but defeat and Bivol could see him fight again with the Russian.
The Mexican fighter was dropped from the number one ranking after his loss to Bivol,
