14 Provinces Without Additional COVID-19 Cases

JAKARTA - Data from the Ministry of Health shows that there are 14 provinces that have not experienced additional COVID-19 cases based on data as of today.

Provinces that did not experience additional COVID-19 cases include Aceh, West Sumatra, Jambi, Bengkulu, Bangka Belitung, West Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo and West Sulawesi.

In addition, there are provinces where the number of additional cases is below 10, namely the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Papua, East Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara, North Sumatra, Riau, Lampung, Riau Islands, Central Kalimantan, Maluku, North Maluku, Sumatra. South, and West Papua.

Reported by Antara, Tuesday, May 17, according to data from the Ministry of Health, as of Tuesday there were an additional 247 COVID-19 cases, most of which came from DKI Jakarta (74 cases).

The number of COVID-19 patients who recovered on Tuesday reached 1,029 people, the most from West Java (776 people).

There were 17 patients who died from the disease, most of them came from West Java (10 people).

Since the beginning of the pandemic until now, the cumulative number of people confirmed to have COVID-19 in Indonesia has been 6,051,205 with 5,890,826 patients who have recovered and 156,481 patients who died.

The total number of COVID-19 sufferers who are still undergoing quarantine and or treatment on Tuesday is 3,898 people, an increase of 799 people from the previous day
