JAKARTA - The COVID-19 vaccine made by China National Pharmaceutical Group (Sinopharm) can be ordered online by residents of Wuhan and Beijing.
As reported by Antara, Thursday, October 15, students from the two cities who wish to continue their studies abroad have priority to obtain vaccines made by the Chinese state-owned pharmaceutical company.
"We attach great importance to students studying abroad with the hope that they can provide effective, safe and comprehensive protection," a Sinopharm source was quoted as saying by the Global Times .
Apart from students, workers who want to travel abroad and high-risk workers are also a priority for ordering this vaccine.
Chinese students planning to go abroad in November 2020-January 2021 will get the vaccine. Sinopharm seeks to provide vaccines to Chinese students who want to go abroad for free.
As of Tuesday, October 13, 152,000 people have ordered the vaccine and 747,572 others are eager to get it.
