Three Suspects Who Helped Indra Kenz In Binomo Case Extend Their Detention Period

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Department has extended the detention period of three suspects who assisted Indra Kenz in the investment fraud case and money laundering crime (TPPU) on the Binomo platform. They include Brian Edgar Nababan, Fakar Suhartami Pratama alias Fakarich, and Wiki Mandara Nurhalim.

"For the FSP suspect (Fakar, ed) an extension of the detention of 40 has been carried out from April 25 to June 3," said Head of Sub-Directorate II of the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Kombes Chandra Sukma Kumara, when confirmed, Tuesday, May 17.

Then, for the suspect Brian Edgar Nababan, his detention period was extended for 40 days. So, he must languish temporarily until May 30.

Meanwhile, the suspect Wiki Mandara Nurhalim was also extended his detention until May 30.

This extension was carried out because their detention period had expired at the end of April. In addition, the process of handling the case is still in the filing stage.

"We are still completing the file first," said Chandra.

Meanwhile, Brian Edgar plays the Binomo Development Platform Manager and recruiter Indra Kenz.

Fakar alias Fakarich acts as a teacher or trading mentor from Indra Kenz. Meanwhile, Wiki is the admin of Indra Kenz's telegram group.

For information, three other suspects, Vanessa Khong, Rudiyanto Pei, and Indra Kenz's younger brother, Nathania Kesuma, have also had their terms of detention extended.

The extension of the detention period is carried out for investigation and based on a letter issued by the Attorney General's Office.

For Vanessa Khong and her father, it was extended from May 9 to June 17. If Nathania Kesuma was extended from 11 May to 19 June 2022.
