National Police Chief Encourages Indonesian Athletes Who Achieved At The Vietnam SEA Games
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo encouraged all Indonesian athletes who competed in the Southeast Asian Games or the 2021 SEA Games to make proud achievements for the nation.
Sigit gave encouragement and motivation by making video calls, Monday, May 16 to Indonesian athletes who were in Vietnam.
"The enthusiasm is extraordinary. Keep it up until the last match. All spirit. Win, win, win," said Sigit, followed by shouts of enthusiasm from athletes, coaches, and team officials in the call.
The National Police Chief also advised all athletes competing in the 2021 SEA Games to support each other and maintain the fire of enthusiasm to win medals.
In particular, Sigit as the General Chair of the Indonesian Sports Bike Association (PB ISSI) congratulated the gold and silver medals for Indonesian cyclist Tiara Prastika Andini.
Tiara Prastika Andini won a gold medal for the MTB Downhill class and in a similar category there was Andy Prayoga who won a silver medal.
"Congratulations on your achievement. Thank you for getting the gold medal and raising the Red and White Flag at the Hanoi SEA Games," he said.
The National Police Chief noted that the Indonesian team's achievements this time increased compared to the previous one because they managed to donate gold medals.
"There is an increase from last year's gold medal, congratulations. I think all of us in Indonesia are very proud," he said.
In the 2021 SEA Games in Vietnam, as many as 15 Indonesian athletes for the bicycle sport are still competing for medals in the MTB and Road Rac categories.
"Thank you to all the teams involved, including officials, coaches, and the team of doctors, as well as other colleagues. I think this is a gift for all of us," he said.
