Terawan Joins PDSI, Had 'Seduced' Brainwashing Therapy Will Be Supported
JAKARTA - Former Minister of Health (Menkes) Terawan Agus Putranto has officially joined the All-Indonesian Doctors Association (PDSI). PDSI is known to have 'seduced' to support brainwashing therapy if Terawan joined.
"Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Prof. Dr. dr. Terawan Agus Putranto, Sp.Rad (K) RI and Major General TNI (Ret.) dr. Daniel Tjen, Sp. S officially joined PDSI," said General Secretary of PDSI Erfen Gustiawan in written statement, Saturday 14 May.
Erfen explained that Terawan had officially joined PDSI since Friday, May 13, 2022. PDSI first met Terawan to ask if he was willing to join as the administrator or protector of PDSI.
The chairman of PDSI with the status of Brigadier General of the TNI, Jajang Edy Prayitno, emphasized that his organization would support and facilitate research into Terawan's 'brainwashing' therapy. However, this is done if Terawan joins.
"PDSI will facilitate further research from Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) so that it is perfect so that it becomes the gold standard therapy for stroke cases," said Jajang.
Although PDSI does not yet have the authority to issue a recommendation for a doctor's practice permit, Jajang believes that the DPR will immediately revise the Medical Practice Law as recently echoed to evaluate the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI).
"We'll just have to wait, Commission IX plans to revise the UUPK in the near future," said the former Staff of the Minister of Health.
Until now, the only professional organization that has this authority is IDI. Regarding Terawan's practice permit, it is still valid until August 5, 2023. After that, he needs a recommendation to extend his practice permit.
As is known, Terawan was dismissed from IDI membership. The basis for Terawan's dismissal was set out in the MKEK IDI which was held on 8 February.
Terawan is known to have the title of Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.). He is noted to have served as Head of the Gatot Subroto Army Central Hospital.
