French MotoGP Qualification: Francesco Bagnaia Takes Pole Position, Fabio Quartararo Places 4th, Marc Marquez 10th
JAKARTA - Lenovo's Ducati racer, Francesco Bagnaia, won the French MotoGP pole position, Saturday, May 14. He became the fastest in the qualifying session.
Bagnaia recorded the fastest lap time of 1 minute 30,450 seconds. He was 0.069 seconds ahead of his team mate, Jack Miller, who will start the race from second position.
The third place was filled by Aprilia Racing's Aleix Espargaro. The Spaniard is 0.159 seconds adrift of Bagnaia.
Unsatisfactory results were obtained by the host racer, Fabio Quartararo. The Yamaha rider had to settle for fourth place with a difference of 0.238 seconds from Bagnaia.
Meanwhile, the Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, was also not so impressive in this qualifying session. The Spaniard only finished 10th after his time was 0.698 seconds slower than Bagnaia.

In the French Moto3 qualification, the Indonesian rider, Mario Aji, failed to get the best position. The Honda Team Asia racer will start from 28th position.
In the qualifying session, Mario Aji recorded a time of 1 minute 43,707 seconds. Meanwhile, his team mate, Taiyo Furusato, started from 26th position after making a lap time of 1 minute 43,512 seconds in qualifying.
