Cipayung Land Mafia Case, DKI Prosecutor's Office Searches And Seizes 2 Houses

JAKARTA - A team of investigators from the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office searched and confiscated two houses in the Depok and Cileungsi areas, West Java, related to the land mafia corruption case in Cipayung, East Jakarta.

"In order to shed light on the corruption crime of the Cipayung land mafia, East Jakarta, on Thursday, May 12, 2022, investigators from the DKI High Prosecutor's Office conducted a search of several places," said Kasipenkum DKI Jakarta Prosecutor's Office, Ashari Syam, as quoted by Antara, Friday, May 13.

The search was based on the Investigation Order of the Head of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office Number: Print-01/M.1/Fd.1/01/2022 dated January 19, 2022, Search Order Number: Print-140/M.1/Fd.1/ 01/2022 dated 19 January 2022, Confiscation Order Number: Print-141/M.1/Fd.1/01/2022 dated 19 January 2022 and Determination of the Corruption Court at the Special Class IA Bandung District Court Number: 7/Pen.Pid .Sus/TPK/2022/PN.Bdg dated March 30, 2022.

Ashari explained that the search was carried out on a land broker with the initials FJR located in Orchid Cluster 2 Blok M1-36E Tirtajaya Depok, West Java.

Then, at the residence of PWM, who is a retired civil servant at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Parks and Forests Service, which is located at Puri Cileungsi E-11/10 RT 05 RW 08 Gandoang Village, Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency, West Java.

During this search, the Jakarta Prosecutor's Office investigator team managed to secure documents for land acquisition in Setu Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, which will then be used as evidence.

"Investigators have searched and confiscated documents in the form of land acquisition in Setu Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, documents/notes for money sharing schemes, documents for submitting and offering land prices as well as financial transaction documents," said Ashari.

Ashari also said that during the investigation stage, the LDS notary together with JFR set a price for nine land owners in Setu Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta who only received compensation for land acquisition of Rp. 1,600,000 per meter.

Meanwhile, the price paid by the City Parks and Forest Service (Distamhut) of DKI Jakarta to land owners is an average of IDR 2,700,000 per meter, so that the money from land acquisition enjoyed by LDS and JFR Notaries is estimated to be IDR 17,770,209,683.

"It is suspected that the money from the land acquisition has flowed to a number of people from the City Parks and Forest Service and related parties," said Ashari.
