46 Riau Islands Residents Confirmed To Depart Hajj Plus In 2022
BATAM - A total of 46 residents of the Riau Islands Province are scheduled to perform the Hajj with the category of Hajj Plus in 2022.
"There are 46 worshipers, plus three officers, namely a doctor, an ustad and operational staff. So a total of 49 will depart from Zulindo," said Director of Zulindo Khamsa Bakri by telephone in Batam, reported by Antara, Friday.
Zulindo is the only tour and travel agent in the Riau Islands that will dispatch Hajj plus pilgrims in 2022.
He said that in fact, Zulindo got 110 Hajj plus seats. However, it was reduced by the rules, and in the end only 49 people left.
Although it is still relatively small, he said he was grateful that the pilgrimage trip was reopened for Indonesia.
"Yes, it's 'happy'. Because my bus contains 51, I don't want more than 49, I don't want less than 49 either, because making 2 buses is impossible," he said. and follow the policies of the Ministry of Hajj of Saudi Arabia.
"Yes, we are part of the organizers, but the decision rests with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj," he said.
Like in trade, the government is the supplier and the travel tour company is the distributor, he continued.
"It's like that, so just follow their provisions," he said.
Regarding the cost of the Hajj plus trip, he said it was around 15 thousand US dollars, or around Rp. 225 million at an exchange rate of 1 US dollar to Rp. 15,000.
