The Population Of Central Lombok Is Often Not Decreased, Dukcapil Composes The Basic Funeral Book
LOMBOK - The Department of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of Central Lombok Regency is intensively preparing an action plan to complete the creation of a funeral book.
The Head of the Dukcapil Service in Central Lombok, Hj Baiq Anita Nindia, said the effort was in response to the Population Administration (Adminduk) service which recently received the third rank (level) from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
"This is because there is no funeral book, so to go up to the highest level, namely level IV in this administrative service, there must be a funeral book book," said Baiq Anita in Praya, NTB, quoted from Antara, Friday, May 13.
Collecting data on the community or making the main funeral book is important to find out the exact data on the number of people in the area who have died.
"Indeed, the function of this funeral book is to let us know how many deaths there are in our area, because up to now there is no definite data regarding the number of deaths in our area. So this will also greatly impact various factors if our data is not yet valid," he said.
So far, there is often no reduction in population data, even though there are people who have died. So it is not uncommon during general elections there are still many names of people who have died. Likewise, when there is assistance, people who have died are still there to get help.
In addition, it has an effect on BPJS payments made by the government, even though they die, the government may still pay BPJS contributions, because the data is still there even though they have died.
"So if there is a death record book, we can know the death reports from the hamlets," he said.
For this reason, starting this year, the agency has started to launch the data collection, by directly going down to the villages, the data collection is done through the village registration officer.
With this data collection, it is hoped that in the future the data on the number of residents in the area will be even better and various problems related to population data can be handled optimally.
“So the pattern is now, the hamlet will report to the village, then the village will report to the Dukcapil. This is to let us know the death rate, so that the population will automatically decrease. So this is closely related to the number of Permanent Voters List (DPT) later on, "he said.
The problem so far is that there are many burial places in the Central Lombok area and there are no grave guards. Unlike in the City, there are grave guards and there is already a funeral book.
"If they don't exist and sometimes people when they die are buried near their homes and other problems," he said.
