The Boy Kidnappers In Tanah Kusir And Bogor Successfully Arrested In Senayan
JAKARTA - The police managed to arrest the perpetrators of the kidnapping of a 12-year-old boy, which took place in Tanah Kusir, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.
South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto said that the perpetrator was arrested in the Senayan area, Jakarta, Thursday, May 12.
"Alhamdulillah, in the Senayan area, the perpetrator was caught by a joint team from the South Jakarta Metro Police and the Bogor Regency Police," Budhi told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, May 12.
Budhi explained that the arrests began when his party received information about reports of child abductions in the Tanah Kusir area, South Jakarta.
"The team then worked to identify the information and evidence that we got so that we got evidence that the direction of the perpetrator was towards Bogor," he said.
After his party coordinated with the Bogor Police. It turned out that the perpetrator was being chased since last week for the same case, the kidnapping of a child named Fahri.
"(So) the Bogor Police are also looking for the person concerned. This means that this perpetrator also carried out his criminal actions in the Bogor area," he continued.
Departing from that case, his party cooperated with the Bogor Police to conduct a sweep until the perpetrator was finally caught in the Senayan area, Jakarta.
"From that analysis, there is a strong suspicion that the perpetrator was in the Jakarta area, so we from Bogor returned to explore Jakarta and Alhamdulillah, in the Senayan area, the perpetrator was arrested," he said.
The boy named Kevin Dwi Putra who was abducted by the perpetrators was also successfully secured. Now it has been handed over to the victim's parents.
"We have secured the child and we will hand it over to the parents for guidance," he concluded.
