Ivan Perisic Insinuates Inter Milan's Management About A New Contract After Helping The Team Win The Coppa Italia: Important Players Don't Wait Until The Last Moment

JAKARTA - Ivan Perisic's future with Inter Milan is still not bright. The Croatian player has not yet signed a new contract with the Blue Black.

Inter Milan actually wants Ivan Perisic to stay. The player also wants the same thing. However, unfortunately, no concrete steps have been taken by the club management.

Ivan Perisic admitted that he did not know for sure how the process of his new contract would be. He actually then satirized Inter Milan's management regarding this issue.

"I don't know (about the new contract), but important players (the club) don't wait until the last moment," he told Mediaset.

The statement was made by the former Bayern Munich player after helping Inter Milan win the Coppa Italia by beating Juventus 4-2. In that match, Perisic scored two goals.

He was also named the best player in the match.

This achievement further shows that the 33-year-old player is actually still very important for Simone Inzaghi's team. Moreover, he has always been a core team player.

Ivan Perisic could have chosen to leave. A number of European clubs are reportedly happy to accommodate him for next season. Call it two English Premier League clubs from London, Arsenal and Chelsea.
