Irish Ise Reveals The Difference Between Playing Movies And Sinetron
JAKARTA - Irish Ise starred in his first film, Kuntilanak 3. He admitted that he had discovered many new things while shooting films compared to soap operas.
In Kuntilanak 3, Irish Ise plays the role of Ms. Stefani, a teacher as well as the principal's right hand. Playing in a horror film was a challenge as well as a new experience for him.
"The role of Ms. Stefani is what she wants to find out for sure through me. All the children's information, I would know. The situation at home, I definitely know," Irish Ise told VOI.
According to him, roles in soap operas and films have drastic differences. When playing a movie, an actor is given space to explore his character.
"I noticed that when I was shooting a film, I couldn't improve at all, I had to copy and paste the same thing. We're paying attention to our movements compared to soap operas, we still love our own personality," said Irish Ise.
As a result, he admits that he finds more of himself when playing roles in soap operas than films. But it's not something bad for the Dutch-blooded actress.
“I noticed that in the film it was because of his role but I didn't see Ise at all. But in soap operas there is an ise character there," said Irish Ise.
In addition, the preparation of the film is also much longer so that he can display his acting performance.
"When I was in the film, I was much deeper into my character as Stefani than in soap operas or web series," said Irish Ise.
