The Second Phase Of Bengkulu-Lubuk Linggau Toll Road Construction Will Start Soon
BENGKULU - The Bengkulu Provincial Government stated that the construction of the 23.7 kilometer Bengkulu-Lubuk Linggau toll road, namely from Taba Penanjung to Kepahiang Regency, will begin immediately.
Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah said the second phase of construction had been approved by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas at the 2022 National Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbangnas).
"The construction of the Bengkulu toll road will continue because from the beginning the Bengkulu-Lubuk Linggau toll road was planned," said Rohidin, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, May 11.
He ensured that the development program had been included in the Government Work Plan (RKP) for the 2023 Fiscal Year.
Currently, the second phase of toll road construction is in the process of land acquisition to be used as a toll road location later.
In addition to the construction of the Bengkulu-Lubuk Linggau toll road, the ministry has also approved the continuation of other developments in Bengkulu Province.
One of them is the continued construction of the Phase II Trans Enggano road, located on Enggano Island, North Bengkulu Regency, with a length of 19.5 kilometers.
Furthermore, river flood control (Jetty and Groin construction of Muara Bangka Hulu) in Bengkulu City is 2.15 kilometers long.
