When Mardani PKS Insinuates About Taxes 'The IKN People Don't Have It But Already Targeted,' Eko Kuntadhi Gives A Shocking Reply!
JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP PKS Mardani Ali Sera quipped about taxes and special levies in the New State Capital (IKN), East Kalimantan. In the online media graphic that Mardani replied to, there are 13 types of taxes.
For example, motor vehicle tax, motor vehicle transfer fees, heavy equipment tax, surface water tax and taxes on non-metallic minerals and rocks. "IKN people don't exist yet, but they have been targeted to be taxed," Mardani quipped via his Twitter account, @MardaniAliSera, reported Wednesday, May 11.
With the enactment of these types of taxes, Mardani claims that people who want to go to IKN actually think.
"Those who want to move must think about it. From the start @PKSejahtera has rejected the existence of IKN because it has the potential to burden the community. Gradually, these concerns are starting to appear," he said.
Mardani's tweet clearly invited reactions from netizens. One of them is a social media activist, Eko Kuntadhi. Eko quipped back at Mardani, who is a member of Commission II of the DPR RI.
According to him, as a member of the DPR, Mardani should understand the application of the Taxation Law in IKN.
"Well, this is just the implementation of the Taxation Law that was made by the DPR. And you are a member of the DPR who made the law. How about that, tea..." said Eko on Twitter, @_ekokuntadhi.
