Nadya Nakhoir Donates The First Bronze Medal For Indonesia At The SEA Games Vietnam Kick Boxing Sport 2021

JAKARTA - Nadya Nakhoir became an athlete who successfully broke Indonesia's wait for a medal at the SEA Games Vietnam 2021. As a representative in the kick boxing sport, Nadya contributed the first bronze for the country.

Nadya presented the first bronze for Indonesia after dropping at the full contact number -48 kg.

Appearing at the Bac Ninh Gymnasium, Tuesday, May 9, Nadya's steps were stopped in the semifinals after losing 0-3 to the host's representative, Nguyen Thi Hang Nga.

With this result, Nadya got bronze with Renalyn Dacquel Dasalla (Philippines) who lost to Boonpeng Kanwara (Thailand) 0-3.

In addition to bronze, kick boxing is also confirmed to be contributing to medals again after Amanda La Loupatty, who played in the women's low kick -52 kg, confirmed her ticket to the final after defeating Thailand's Piamsuk Permkhunthod 2-1.

Previously, Amanda also managed to beat Mimi Yoysaykham who is the representative of Laos in the quarter-finals with a score of 3-0.

If successful in the semifinals, Amanda will face Claudine Veloso who is the representative of the Philippines to fight for the gold medal today.
