Demonstration Of Job Creation Law, Polda Metro Jaya Ensures Security Of The Capital City

JAKARTA - The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Inspector General Nana Sudjana, guarantees the safety of the Capital City and its surroundings from the possibility of chaos during a demonstration against the Job Creation Act.

"We will guarantee security in the capital city of Indonesia, especially Jakarta and its surroundings," said Nana at the Monas crossroad, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, October 13.

His party, he said, had deployed a joint team at all points to maintain the safety of the action. The 12,000 personnel deployed today consist of the TNI-Polri and security forces from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

According to Nana, to facilitate security during the demonstration, the police will limit the location of the demonstration. The police only allowed the action to be held in the area of the Arjuna Wiwaha statue or horse statue.

"The point of gathering for the masses will be at the Horse Statue, we will direct it to the Horse Statue," he said.

Based on observations in the field, the mass of demonstrations began to arrive. In their action they refused to pass the Job Creation Law. Because, this law is considered detrimental to society.
