The Case Of The Man Who Threatens To Break Bobby Nasution's Neck Is Stopped
MEDAN - Rizkan Putra, a man from Takengon, Aceh who threatened to break Bobby Nasution's neck was released from detention.
Because the victim, the E-parking officer withdrew the report to the police. Perpetrators and victims agreed to make peace.
Medan Police Chief Kombes Valentino Alfa Tatareda explained that the case was resolved with restorative justice.
"We will immediately process this to stop the investigation," said Kombes Valentino, Tuesday, May 10 at the Patriatana Hall of the Medan Polrestabes, Tuesday, May 10.
Also attending the event were the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution and the Dandim 02/01 Medan Ferry Muzawwad.
Kombes Valentino said that the termination of the case with restorative justice was in accordance with the National Police Chief Regulation (Perkap) Number 08 of 2021.
"So, based on the provisions of Perkap 08 2021, this has become a formal requirement for peace from both parties," he said.
He also thanked Bobby Nasution. This is because President Jokowi's son-in-law has initiated peace between the e-parking officer and the residents of Takengon, Aceh.
"We thank the Mayor of Medan for initiating this (peace). We are trying today to complete all administrative processes, because that is the wish of all of us," he said.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution said that the case between the E-parking officer and Rizkan Putra was only a matter of misunderstanding. Therefore, Bobby believes that the case deserves to be stopped.
"His condition (the e-parking officer) is also healthy, there are no significant marks, there is no disability. So, it was a mere mistake, not intentional. I think Sudan deserves to be forgiven," said Bobby.
Moreover, said Bobby, the families of both parties have also shown good faith to make peace and not prolong the case.
"Our family, as victims, also has no more problems. So I don't think this should be extended, because both Rizkan's family have good intentions," he said.
