Anticipating Traffic Flow Diversion, Long-Distance Trains From Gambir Can Stop In Jatinegara

JAKARTA - PT KAI Daop I Jakarta issued a policy to regulate special operating patterns for long-distance trains at Gambir station, Tuesday, October 13. This policy was carried out because it anticipated congestion due to the diversion of traffic on the same day.

"Anticipating congestion due to the diversion of traffic flows, long-distance train departures from Gambir station can stop at Jatinegara station on Tuesday, October 13," said Head of Public Relations of PT KAI Daop I Jakarta, Eva Chairunisa, Tuesday, October 13.

The operating pattern arrangement is carried out for six train trips from Gambir Station which will stop specifically at Jatinegara Station to serve service users.

The following is a list of 6 train departures from Gambir Station that stop at Jatinegara Station:

- KA 7030A Argo Parahyangan departs from Gambir Station at 07.50 WIB

- KA 10 Argo Dwipangga departs from Gambir Station at 08.00 WIB

- KA 4 Argo Bromo Anggrek departs from Gambir Station at 08.15 WIB

- KA 44 Argo Parahyangan Excellent departs from Gambir Station at 15.40 WIB

- KA 72 Bima departs from Gambir Station at 16:40 WIB

- KA 6 Argo Bromo Anggrek departs from Gambir Station at 20.30 WIB

The entire train departure time from Gambir Station has not changed.

Eva said, with the arrangement of the special operation pattern, it is hoped that the community can avoid the risk of congestion that may occur due to the diversion of traffic to Gambir Station and have the option of being able to depart from Jatinegara Station.

"When normal trains departing from Gambir Station do not stop at Jatinegara Station, but specifically Tuesday, October 13, 2020, they will stop at Jatinegara station for the process of getting on and off passengers. This is done to make it easier for prospective train passengers to avoid traffic jams when going to the station. Gambir and experienced delays, "he said.
