Entering The Busway Line, The Red Toyota Calya Hits A Transjakarta Bus At The Kramatjati Bus Stop
JAKARTA - A Toyota Calya car with license plate number B 2048 TQK crashed into a Transjakarta bus with body number PPD 0187 on Jalan Raya Bogor, Kramatjati, East Jakarta, Monday, May 9.
The incident occurred when the Transjakarta bus was dropping passengers at the Kramatjati Market Stop. The car then came from behind and hit the bus.
"The bus from Kampung Rambutan, just as it arrived at the bus stop, was hit. It hit pretty fast, there were a lot of passengers," said Syahril, one of the passengers, to reporters at the location, Monday, May 9.
Syahril said that the force of the collision caused a number of Transjakarta bus passengers to fall to the front. However, he continued, no one was injured.
However, the front of the car was damaged in the accident.
Head of the East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit AKBP Edy Surasa said his party had not received a report regarding the accident.
"There is no report yet, Mas," said Edy when confirmed.
Head of the Traffic Accident Section, Sub-Directorate of Gakkum Traffic Directorate of the Metro Jaya Regional Police (Polda) Kompol Edy Purwanto also said there were no reports related to the accident.
"We have no reports regarding this," he said.
