Andi Sudirman Sulaiman Moves, South Sulawesi Allocates IDR 18 Billion Repairing The Enrekang-Pinrang Axis Road
MAKASSAR - The Provincial Government of South Sulawesi has allocated a budget of Rp. 18.2 billion in 2022 to repair roads that were badly damaged on the Enrekang-Pinrang axis.
Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUTR) South Sulawesi Astina Abbas said this year, the South Sulawesi PUTR Service allocated Rp. 18.2 billion to reconstruct the 2.3 km road on the Paleteang - Malaga - Kabere section in Enrekang Regency.
According to him, the road linking Enrekang Regency and Pinrang Regency is a priority for Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman to work on this year.
"This is one of the governor's priorities, because it is a high LHR with badly damaged conditions. This year, the handling is focused on resolving the severe damage of about 2.3 km," Astina said as quoted by Antara, Monday, May 9.
Not only road handling, this year the construction of the Kabere Bridge on the Paleteang - Malaga - Kabere section is also carried out with an allocation of around Rp. 4.4 billion.
Handling this year, including for narrow roads and extreme incline.
"With the construction of this road, it will complete the heavily damaged roads," he said.
Astina said that the road construction will be carried out by repairing the narrow and uphill path because it endangers passing motorists.
“For road reconstruction, it is currently in the auction stage. Meanwhile, for the new bridge, DED has been completed, and will enter the auction stage," he said.
Astina said the handling of provincial roads is one of the commitments of the Governor of South Sulawesi in providing easy access to public mobility.
