Conglomerate Pieter Tanuri Disburses IDR5.74 Billion Adds Share Ownership In Bali United
JAKARTA - Conglomerate Pieter Tanuri has increased his share ownership in the issuer managing the Bali United football club, PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk (BOLA).
In the information disclosure of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), quoted on Monday 9 May, Pieter purchased 14.3 million (14,353,700) shares or 0.24 percent of the total issued shares of the company. Prior to investing, Pieter, who is the controlling shareholder of BOLA, owned 2.39 billion or 39.97 percent of BOLA's shares.
"This additional ownership is intended for investment," said Pieter.
After the transaction, Pieter Tanuri's shares in BOLA increased to 2.41 billion shares or 40.21 percent of the total shares of the company. Pieter was recorded to have made this share purchase transaction on April 25, 2022.
Pieter redeemed BOLA shares at a purchase price of Rp400.18 per share. With the purchase price, Pieter is estimated to spend around Rp5.74 billion to increase his ownership in BOLA.
Until now, Pieter Tanuri is listed as the controlling shareholder of BOLA with 40.21 percent ownership. While 8.88 percent is owned by PT Asuransi Central Asia, 5.08 percent is held by Ayu Patricia Rachmat, 2.51 percent is pocketed by PT Asuransi Jiwa Central Asia Raya-Carlink ProMixed, and 43.56 percent is controlled by the community.
