Marriage Reception Is Still Prohibited At The Jakarta Transitional PSBB
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government still prohibits the celebration of wedding receptions during the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) transition volume II.
Head of the Tourism Industry Division of the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Office, Bambang Ismadi, said that currently only a marriage contract or wedding ceremony is allowed.
"Those who are allowed to have a marriage contract with a maximum limit of 30 people. If the reception is not allowed," said Bambang when confirmed, Monday, October 12.
Bambang explained, the reason the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has not allowed the wedding reception is because the activity has the potential to create a crowd. Because, guests who attend will pass by.
This is different from the cinema operational licensing policy. According to him, it is easy to adjust the position of the moviegoers because they only sit in one place.
"The reception caused a very large crowd, so it is not allowed. The cinema is allowed, because they are easy to arrange by sitting nowhere," said Bambang.
