Today's Backflow, Cirebon Toll Road And Pantura Traffic Sloping In Two Directions
CIREBON - The traffic flow on the Palimanan-Kanci (Palikanci) and North Coast (Pantura) arteries of Cirebon, West Java, was observed to be sloping in both directions, after the police stopped the one-way engineering in the early hours of Monday, 9 May.
"The one-way implementation last night at 24.00 WIB has been normalized," said Head of the Cirebon City Police Traffic Unit AKP Triyono Raharja in Cirebon, as reported by Antara.
He confirmed that currently the traffic flow in the local jurisdiction is sloping, both on toll and arterial roads, although there are still some motorbike riders who make the return trip.
However, the conditions were not as busy as the previous three days, which was the peak of the return flow for Eid 2022.
"Alhamdulillah, the situation looks sloping, and it's not as crowded as yesterday," he said. Antara reported on Monday, on the Palikanci Toll Road, at around 08.30 WIB, the two lanes had been used for two directions, both to Jakarta and from Jakarta.
Vehicles from both directions were observed to be crowded, although they were still dominated by those heading to Jakarta compared to Central Java.
Vehicles traveling on the toll road can be at normal speed or as usual, different during the homecoming and return flow.
In fact, vehicles can travel at speeds of 100 kilometers per hour, because the two lanes are not as crowded as the day before.
This condition also occurs in the Cirebon Pantura artery, where vehicles are no longer as crowded as during peak times, although there are still drivers making backflows, but all of them are sloping.
