Dedi Mulyadi Promises To Help Education For Fisherman Families In Cianjur Who Have 5 Children, As Long As They Want To Join The Family Planning Program

JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Dedi Mulyadi, offered a prize for participating in the Family Planning (KB) program to a fisherman's family who has five children, in the Cianjur area, West Java.

Reporting from Antara, Sunday, May 8, Dedi Mulyadi promised to help their children's education if the father joined the family planning program. Dedi met with families of fishermen looking for fish at Lake Cirata while on a trip while monitoring the activities of the local community.

In the middle of the lake, Dedi Mulyadi met his family who were looking for fish using a canoe. The family is a fisherman who looks for fish by casting nets.

The dull boat was boarded by four people consisting of a husband and wife, one son and one daughter. They seemed compact to help each other in lifting fishing nets.

Apparently Dewi, the fisherman's wife, joined the search for fish while pregnant. So with the baby they are carrying, Dewi and her husband already have six children.

Their family originally worked as fishermen on Jayanti Beach, Cianjur. However, because they did not have enough capital, they chose to move to their parents' house around Cirata.

Seeing the condition of the family, Dedi Mulyadi then offered to join the family planning program. If you want later the family will be given a gift.

"At that time I also took family planning, but it was not suitable. The midwife also said that I was in danger of giving birth again. So I really agree if my husband joins family planning," said Dewi.

"Don't worry, this is male family planning, healthy. If you want, it will be delivered on Monday (KB) and buy new nets and boats," said Dedi as well.

As evidence, Dedi Mulyadi gave some money to buy a new net. Later, when the family planning process has been completed, the family will be given a new boat as a gift.

Dedi also visited Dewi's house and met her five children. Of the five children, two are out of school because there is no money.

Dedi also promised to help the children's education if the father had joined family planning.

"This is a variety of life. Sometimes a simple life can be happy, even though there are many children, we want to perfect happiness," said Dedi Mulyadi.
