Lebaran H+5, 8.000 Train Passengers From Cirebon To Jakarta

CIREBON – More than 8,000 train passengers from Cirebon to Jakarta and its surroundings. The data was revealed by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop 3 Cirebon, West Java.

"Today there are more than 8,000 passengers who boarded the station in the Daop 3 Cirebon area," said Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 3 Cirebon Suprapto in Cirebon, as reported by Antara, Saturday, May 7.

According to Suprapto, this number is still quite high, even though the peak of passenger departures at Daop 3 Cirebon occurred on Thursday, May 5 with a total of more than 9,000 passengers.

Suprapto continued, the surge in backflow passengers at Daop 3 Cirebon had occurred since D+1 Lebaran, where every day no less than 6,000 passengers took the train.

For this reason, KAI Cirebon has operated six Argo Cheribon trains and one Ciremai train, to accommodate the enthusiasm of the community.

"We have also operated six Argo Cheribon trains as of May 4 yesterday," he said.

Suprapto added that in total there were 115 trains operating during the return flow in the Daop 3 Cirebon area.

This number consists of the initial departure of 10 trains from Daop 3 Cirebon, and 105 trains that pass through Daop 3 Cirebon.

"The addition of this train is to serve passengers who want to use rail transportation," he said.
