SRAGEN - Head of Gondang Police, AKP Sudarmaji gave a statement regarding the discovery of the bodies of two father and son, Arifin (40) and SLA (5), hanging opposite each other in his house in Gondang Village, Gondang District, Sragen, on Friday, May 6.

Sudarmaji said that the victim's body was not autopsied because the family did not want it. In fact, the desire not to be autopsied was also confirmed by writing on the wall written by the victim, before committing the act of hanging himself.

"The results of the TKP analysis show that the victim has hanged himself," said Sudarmaji representing the Sragen Police Chief, AKBP Yuswanto Ardi, to reporters, Friday, May 6.

Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations of the Sragen Police, AKP Suwarso explained, Arifin and his daughter were found by a neighbor who was about to send food.

"At around 3 p.m., the neighbor, a chicken noodle seller, wanted to visit the victim's house to deliver food through the front door," said AKP Suwarso.

The witness entered the house through the front door which was already open. After entering the house, the victim's neighbor saw the victim and her child hanging from the house supporting pole using a rope.

"Then the victim's neighbor immediately shouted and approached other residents," he said.

According to information, Arifin's wife is known to be a female worker (TKW) abroad. AKP Suwarso said the motive for the suicide was allegedly due to economic problems.

"The results of the examination with witnesses and the victim's neighbors, it is possible that there are family economic problems. The victim's wife is currently a TKW (Women Worker) in Singapore," said Suwarso.
