Securing Amis's Body Autopsy, Muna Police Deploy 48 Personnel

MUNA - The Resort Police (Polres) of Muna, Southeast Sulawesi, deployed 48 personnel to secure the autopsy process for the body of Amis Ando (45) who previously died after being detained in the Polres cell.

Deputy Head of Muna Police, Kompol Anggi Siahaan, said dozens of personnel were on standby to secure and support the autopsy process for the late Amis.

"In addition to securing, police personnel support the process and conduct of the autopsy," he said as quoted by Antara, Saturday, May 7.

Dozens of Muna Police personnel have been in the Warangga Public Cemetery (TPU) area in Muna Regency, where Amis Ando's body is buried.

Apart from the police from the Muna District Police, the family and relatives of the late Amis Ando also visited the location where the deceased was buried.

It can be seen that Amis Ando's grave has erected a tent and a guardrail so that the autopsy process runs smoothly.

The deceased was a resident of Jalan Kancil, Watonea Village, Katobu District, Muna Regency. Amis died Wednesday, May 4 when he was about to be taken to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr LM Baharuddin by members of the Muna Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim).

The deceased is thought to have died on the way from the Resort Police to the RSUD around 08.30 WITA.

Amis was secured by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Muna Police on Tuesday, May 3 at around 20.00 WITA on suspicion of threatening cases.

The autopsy was carried out because the family suspected that there were irregularities in the death of the late Amis, so they asked the Muna Police for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
