One Way Scheme, Polri Predicates From Kalikangkung To Cikampek Toll Road Only 5.5 Hours
JAKARTA - The National Police has implemented a one-way or one-way scheme from the Kalikangkung Toll Road KM 414 to the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) KM 47 Toll Road. Thus, it is estimated that the travel time required when crossing the scheme is around 5 hours 30 minutes.
"The estimated travel time from the Kalikangkung-Palimanan-Cikampek toll road is 5 hours and 30 minutes," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko in his statement, Saturday, May 7.
This time estimate is also based on monitoring traffic flow at several points after the implementation of the one-way scheme from KM 414 to KM 47.
For example, the Kalikangkung Toll Road and the Palimaman Toll Road towards Jakarta were monitored smoothly as of 06.32 WIB.
Then, the Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta was observed to be busy smoothly as of 06.33 WIB.
"From the Kalikangkung toll road section to Cikampek the traffic flows smoothly," said Gatot.
Meanwhile, the National Police has extended the route of the one-way or one-way scheme to the KM 3+500 Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) toll road. The decision to extend this scheme is because the number of vehicles going to Jakarta continues to increase.
"Yes, it has (the implementation of the one-way scheme from KM 414 to KM 3+500, ed)," said Head of the Ops Division of the National Police Korlantas Kombes Eddy Djunaedi.
This scheme has been in effect since 07.10 WIB. However, for the timing of the implementation of this scheme, Eddy could not be sure. Because, it will consider various things, one of which is the number of vehicles that lead to Jakarta.
"Situational," said Eddy
