Transitional PSBB, Ragunan Open Again But Limited Visitors

JAKARTA - The transitional PSBB period in Jakarta is back today. Ragunan Wildlife Park, South Jakarta will resume operations starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

Head of Public Relations at Taman Margawastwa Ragunan, I Ketut Wayan, said that his party limited visitor capacity to only 2,000 people. This is in accordance with the provisions of PSBB transition volume II.

"Recreation places during the transition PSBB are limited to 25 percent. If converted, the normal capacity for visitors to Ragunan is 8,000, currently it is limited to 2,000," Ketut said when contacted by VOI , Monday, October 12.

Ketut said, the provisions applied to Ragunan visitors were generally the same as those previously operated during the first transitional PSBB period last June.

Visitors are asked to register online before arriving at Ragunan via the link bit.ly/PesantiketTMR. However, the management of Ragunan Wildlife Park provides registration services on site.

"We have provided anticipation for people who come suddenly because they do not know that registration is done online , by filling in the form directly on the spot. However, we prioritize online distribution," explained Ketut.

Then, children under 10 years, pregnant women, and elderly residents (seniors) over 60 years are still prohibited from entering the Ragunan area. In addition, body temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius is also prohibited from entering even though you have registered.

Then, there was a change in operating hours during the opening of Ragunan during the second PSBB transition period. "Currently we have a change in operating hours, from 7.30 to 14.00 WIB. It's different from the initial transitional PSBB period which operates from 8.00 to 12.00 WIB," he said.
