PT Angkasa Pura Urges Travelers To Make An Early Return Trip
JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura II, Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, appealed to homecomers to make the return trip for Eid 2022 early.
"Early travel really helps the movement of passengers on the return flow and is well distributed," said Plt. Executive General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura II Kualanamu International Airport, Eri Braliantoro, quoted from Antara, Saturday.
Eri stated that on the return flow, PT Angkasa Pura II focused on the smooth process of passenger arrivals, including arrangements for aircraft arrival, baggage claim (baggage claim) and land transportation (buses, taxis and so on).
Previously, passengers traveling for Eid 2022 at Kualanamu Airport on D-3 Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri or Friday were recorded to reach 19,500 people.
"The number of 19,500 passengers traveling for Lebaran homecoming includes 10,682 arrivals and 8,818 departures," said Manager of Branch Communication & Legal of PT Angkasa Pura II Kualanamu Chandra Gumilar.
Chandra said that during this period there were 151 flights, namely 75 arrivals and 76 departures.
While the total cargo is 184,172 kilograms, arrivals are 130,482 kilograms and departs 53,690 kilograms.
"There are 18 flights that are not scheduled, including 10 cargo flights," he said.
Chandra added, as many as five top airlines serve the 2022 Eid homecoming transportation at Kualanamu Airport.
A total of 10,376 North Sumatran Police personnel were deployed to carry out security for Lebaran homecoming in the context of the 2022 Ketupat Toba Operation which starts April 28 to May 9.*
