Visitors To Tanjung Bira Beach, Bulukumba, South Sulawesi Reach 30 Thousands Of People
MAKASSAR - The Tourism Office of Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi, recorded the number of visitors to Tanjung Bira Beach tourist attractions on the four days of the long holiday of Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijriah/2022 reached 30 thousand people.
"This temporary data, about 30 thousand visitors, is likely to increase considering that there are still two national holidays," said Head of the Bulukumba Tourism Office, Daud Kahal, as quoted by Antara, Friday, May 6.
In addition to the density of visitors at the white sandy beach tourist location, the queue of vehicles seems to be crawling densely to enter tourist attractions which are one of the mainstay tourism destinations in South Sulawesi.
Reportedly, the queue of four-wheeled vehicles that will enter the local location occurs for several kilometers, resulting in a fairly long traffic jam.
Even the management of Tanjung Bira together with TNI and Polri personnel were forced to intervene to regulate vehicles to break down traffic jams.
Meanwhile, the number of vehicles from the temporary data of the Department of Transportation, it was recorded that it had reached 15 thousand vehicles, both four-wheeled and two-wheeled, to this tourist spot.
"We urge all visitors to continue to pay attention and obey the Health Protocols, because this is still a COVID-19 pandemic," said Daud.
In addition to the tourist location of Tanjung Bira Beach, other tourist attractions in Tana Beru, Bulukumba, where the Pinisi Ship is made are also crowded with tourists to see firsthand the shipbuilding process and take pictures.
