Sandiaga Uno In New York: G20 Momentum For Indonesia To Show Off To Lead The World Economy
JAKARTA - For more than two years, the pandemic has ravaged the entire world. The economic paralysis had even occurred globally, and Indonesia was no exception.
But the government can move quickly to restore the situation. Indonesia is now known as one of the leading countries and an example to the world as a country that is able to recover its economic condition quickly.
This was conveyed by Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, during his visit to New York, United States to attend the United Nations Assembly. According to Sandiaga Uno, the G20 which will be held in Indonesia can be a momentum to show off.
"Indonesia's role as the host of the G20 agenda is one of the momentums to show off leading the world economic recovery as well as concrete evidence of the successful handling of the COVID-19 pandemic," Sandiaga Uno wrote on his personal Instagram social media.
On the same occasion, Sandiaga Uno also said that when the G20 will be held, Indonesia will also host the commemoration of World Tourism Day. For this reason, he stated that he would continue to encourage economic acceleration.
"Together with Mr. President @Jokowi, we always move quickly to develop a new economic order and encourage economic revival, create business opportunities, and create job opportunities for the welfare of the Indonesian people," he concluded as in a written statement.
