CPRO, Thai Conglomerate-Owned Company Benjamin Jiavaranon Raised Sales Of IDR8.02 Trillion And Profit Of IDR2.21 Trillion In The First Quarter Of 2021
JAKARTA - A fish and shrimp farming company, PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO) posted an increase in performance throughout 2021. The revenue and profit of the company owned by Thai conglomerate Benjamin Jiavaranon grew significantly last year.
In CPRO's financial report, which was quoted on Tuesday, May 3, the company recorded a net profit of Rp.2.21 trillion, rocketing 479.93 percent compared to profit in 2020 of Rp.381.42 billion.
Meanwhile, CPRO posted net sales of Rp8.02 trillion. The realization rose 5.94 percent compared to the previous year's achievement of Rp7.57 trillion.
The increase in cost of goods sold did not reduce CPRO's operating profit. The company recorded an operating profit of IDR 821.78 billion, an increase compared to operating profit in 2020 of IDR 618.32 billion.
Judging from the sales contributors, CPRO's main revenue still comes from the sale of feed worth Rp6.4 trillion. This realization increased compared to the end of 2020 record which was worth Rp. 5.96 trillion.
Furthermore, the food product segment also recorded an increase from Rp1.29 trillion to Rp1.32 trillion at the end of 2021. Meanwhile, the fried shrimp and other segments contributed sales of Rp276.39 billion and Rp19.69 billion, respectively.
Meanwhile, the number of CPRO assets until the end of 2021 was observed to increase to Rp6.44 trillion. Meanwhile, the company's liabilities decreased to Rp3.58 trillion from the previous Rp5.61 trillion.
