After Eid Prayers At JIS Will Hold Open House? Anies Baswedan: None

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan confirmed that he would not hold an open house event for halal bihalal after the Eid prayer. This assurance was conveyed on Sunday evening, May 1.

"There is no open house," Anies told reporters after attending the Tabuh Bedug Festival at JIS, Sunter, North Jakarta, Sunday night, May 1.

Meanwhile, for Eid prayers, Anies confirmed that he would attend JIS. The activity will be held today or Tuesday, May 2.

"I pray here. God willing, I have come here this morning," said the former Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud).

Furthermore, Anies reminded people who want to pray Eid at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) to come one hour before the activity.

This is done so that the prayer runs smoothly.

"Come early. Because after all, if you go to a place with a large number of people, it takes time to organize it, it takes time to get from the place of arrival to the place of prayer," he explained.

He asked the public to come first at 06.00 WIB. Meanwhile, Eid prayer will be held at 07.00 WIB.

"Tomorrow's Eid prayer will start at 07.00 WIB. But we recommend arriving at the location at 06.00 WIB," said Anies.

"So that we can both sit quietly, takbir until 07.00 am when the Eid prayer begins," he concluded.
