JAKARTA - The National Police's strategy in implementing a one-way system on toll roads during the 2022 Eid homecoming is considered a success. Even though traffic jams occur, they are still relatively controlled and safe. The community members welcomed it with joy.

National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo through his Instagram account @listyosigitprabowo shared videos of residents' responses to traffic engineering carried out by the police in the form of implementing a one-way system on the Lebaran 2022 homecoming route.

In the 1.5-minute video, a number of residents who were asked for their comments appreciated the police's efforts to regulate the flow of homecoming traffic safely, smoothly and healthily.

In facing the readiness for Lebaran homecoming in 2022, the National Police have mobilized all their strengths and best strategies in order to provide a sense of security, comfort and health for the entire community.

In securing the Idul Fitri 2022 homecoming, the National Police held Operation Ketupat 2022 which involved 144,392 joint personnel from the TNI-Polri, regional governments and volunteers were deployed.

The personnel consist of 876 Police Headquarters personnel, 87,004 Regional Police personnel, 56,512 personnel from other agencies, such as the TNI, BNPB, BMKG, Pertamina, Jasa Marga, Satpol PP, Transportation Service, Health Service, Scouts and Kamtibmas partners.

All personnel involved will fill 2,702 posko consisting of 1,710 security posts (pos pam), 734 service posts (pos yan), and 258 integrated posts to carry out security in crowded centers, shopping centers, stations, terminals, airports, ports, tourist attractions and along the homecoming route.

The Ketupat 2022 Operational Command Post, which was established by the National Police, is equipped with facilities to help travelers carry out their homecoming safely, smoothly and healthily.

The command post is equipped with a number of facilities, such as rest facilities for drivers, health facilities, information services, supervision of health protocols and screening of PeduliLindung applications, distribution of masks and sanitizers, traffic control officers, and handling of traffic accidents, as well as distribution of takjil and sahur meals. free.
