Five People In Kediri Taken To Hospital For Explosion Of Firecrackers
KEDIRI - The explosion of firecrackers in Balongcino Hamlet, Blaru Village, Kediri Regency, East Java, Friday evening, April 29, resulted in five people being injured and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Kediri Police Chief, AKBP Agung Setyo Nugroho, said the incident resulted in five people being injured. They are now receiving treatment for serious and minor injuries.
"There are five victims. Four people are being treated in hospital due to burns, while one person with minor injuries is currently being taken to the hospital", he said in Kediri, Saturday, April 30.
The explosion of firecrackers in Balongcino Hamlet, Blaru Village, Badas District, Kediri Regency, occurred on Friday, April 29 night. Firecrackers at Bowo's house exploded. In addition to causing five people to be injured, a house that was suspected of containing firecrackers was destroyed.
Police officers who receive reports directly to the location and conduct crime scene investigations (TKP). There is a police line around the location so that unauthorized persons are prohibited from entering.
Bowo's house is uninhabited. The owner of the house has not been occupied and is still new. The house was allegedly used by neighbors without the homeowner's permission to make firecrackers.
Currently, the victims are still receiving intensive care at the hospital. Some of them were referred to Bhayangkara Kediri Hospital for treatment.
A few days earlier there had also been an explosion of firecrackers. The victim's initials DA, a nine-year-old boy. The victim, who lives in Blabak Village, Kandat District, Kediri Regency, suffered injuries to his fingers due to firecracker explosions.
Currently, the victim is being treated and operated on at the SLG Hospital in Kediri Regency and is waiting for the recovery process.
The police appealed to the public not to use firecrackers because they are dangerous. If residents are reckless, the police will ensnare Article 1 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951.
