Bus Speed 80 Km Per Hour Hits Daihatsu Luxio When There Is A Queue On The Tangerang - Merak Toll Road, Passengers Scattered On The Road

CILEGON - A traffic accident occurred on the Tangerang - Merak Toll Road section, precisely at km 95 A towards Merak, on Friday, April 29, at 13.15 WIB. Reportedly, a bus hit three vehicles that were stopped because there was a queue of vehicles.

"There were four vehicles involved in this serial accident, the Rosalia bus vehicle Nopol AD-7191-OF driver SY, Daihatsu Luxio vehicle Nopol B-1548-POV US driver, Daihatsu Xenia vehicle Nopol B-1896-FKT driver HS, and Daihatsu vehicle Xenia Nopol F-1248-HT AG driver," said Dirlantas Polda Banten Kombes Pol Budi Mulyanto, in a written statement, Friday, April 29.

Budi explained that the accident started when the Rosalia bus with the SY driver was walking from Tangerang to Merak in the right lane at 80 km/hour, it was suspected that the driver lacked concentration so he didn't see the queue of vehicles in front of him.

"There was a collision with three vehicles in front of him," he said.

The final position of the four normal vehicles is on the slow left lane of the toll road leading to Merak. As a result of the incident the vehicle was damaged, fortunately no one was injured.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Kombes Pol. Shinto Silitonga, conveyed the results of the crime scene that the accident occurred due to the negligence of the minibus driver.

"The bus driver's negligence factor because he didn't concentrate was the main factor causing the accident," he said.
