The PPSU Officer Who Claimed That THR Money Was Stolen Turns Out To Be A Hoax, The Police Said He Lost Playing Online Gambling

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sawah Besar Police confirmed that an officer for handling public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) of Mangga Dua Selatan sub-district named Ray Prama Abdullah (28) made false statements related to the theft of holiday allowances (THR) worth Rp. 4.4 million. The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Sawah Besar Police, AKP Wildan, said that from the results of the police investigation there were no signs of an incident at the crime scene (TKP). "We are processing the crime scene, looking for witnesses, checking CCTV, there is no such incident," said AKP Wildan to VOI, Thursday, April 28. According to AKP Wildan, the PPSU also admitted that he made the (false) report because he was forced to cover up his fears. "Actually he ran out of money because of gambling. He was afraid of his wife. Even though his money was used up for online gambling playing slots (gambling)," said AKP Wildan.

Investigators also found evidence of transfers to the online gambling site on the PPSU's cellphone. "On his cellphone, he found a transfer to the site," he said. The Kanit ensured that the burglary incident that happened to PPSU, Mangga Dua Selatan Village, was not true or a hoax. "We can confirm that this incident did not exist from the results of our investigation and the confession of the person concerned," he said. Previously, it was reported that a PPSU officer was the victim of a robbery in front of the Husada Hospital, Jalan Mangga Besar Raya, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta. The victim's name is Ray Prama Abdullah (28). According to the victim Ray, the incident began when he took money from an automated teller machine (ATM). Then he continued to work sweeping the streets. "About five minutes from there I was suddenly approached. It was like being arrested by the police because of drugs. I was pinned, I was shocked. The one from the side hit me in the right stomach. There I was already weak," he said, Wednesday 27 April. The victim continued, the perpetrators then reached into his bag and took a number of valuables. "The one from the left side he took out a sickle. The perpetrator said you just shut up," said the victim imitating the perpetrator's words. The victim said the perpetrators numbered 10 people. The victim suspects that the perpetrators are gangsters who often convoy on the road. The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 27, in the morning, around 05.30 WIB. Victims since Ramadan, often work since dawn. As a result of the incident, his THR money worth Rp. 4.4 million was lost. He took the THR money to buy family needs, to buy clothes and food for iftar. "Well, I'm shocked, both of them are sad, why should I experience it. Could there be a mistake or something. I also got beaten up. There were about five motorbikes and carrying sickles. The perpetrators were still teenagers," he said.
