Police Check 250 People Involved In Riot Demonstrations In South Sulawesi, This Is A List Of Damage To Facilities

MAKASSAR- The police released damages due to a demonstration against the Job Creation Law which ended in chaos in South Sulawesi. The rioters are still being questioned by the police.

Damage occurred at the Traffic post flyover in Urip Sumoharjo, Makassar, motorbikes, trucks, videotron in front of the South Sulawesi governor's office. Then damage to the fence at Mal Nipah Makassar. The mob also burned 3 police motorbikes.

"One unit of the official motorbike of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government and 1 unit of private motorbike belongs to ASN," said Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, Friday, October 9.

There were also those who damaged and threw a Satpol PP post with Molotov cocktails at the governor's office. A Jatanras car was smashed by a glass on Jalan AP Pettarani, Makassar.

Damage, according to Ibrahim, also occurred at the Palopo DPRD office. Gates were knocked down, glasses were smashed.

There were 250 people arrested consisting of residents then 77 students and 95 students. Hundreds of these people are still being examined.

"It's still being examined," said Ibrahim.
