Alhamdulillah, The DKI Provincial Government Will Replace The Central Jakarta PPSU THR Which Was Confiscated By Thieves

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria admitted that he was concerned about the disaster that befell an officer handling public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) in Central Jakarta whose THR was confiscated by a gang of thieves.

Riza said the DKI Provincial Government would visit and replace the THR for the PPSU officer, so that he could celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

"Of course we are concerned that our PPSU has been robbed, the THR has been taken. Related to that, it has been resolved, later (the THR) will be replaced," said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, April 28.

Riza also admitted that his party had asked the police to arrest the perpetrators of the robbery. On that occasion, Riza regretted that there were still crimes in the capital.

"We are very concerned that there is still a robbery going on and it is very untested, dangerous, and can even threaten someone's life," he said.

It is known that a PPSU officer became a victim of a robbery in front of the Husada Hospital, Jalan Mangga Besar Raya, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta. The victim is known as Ray Prama Abdullah (28).

According to Ray, the incident began when he took money from an automated teller machine (ATM). Then he continued his work, sweeping the streets.

"About five minutes from there I was suddenly approached. It was like being arrested by the police because of drugs. I was pinned, I was shocked. The one from the side hit me in the right stomach. There I was already weak," he said, Wednesday 27 April.

Ray continued, the perpetrators then reached into his bag and took a number of valuables. "The one from the left side he took out a sickle. The perpetrator said you'd just shut up," said the victim imitating the perpetrator's words.

Ray said the perpetrators numbered 10 people. The victim suspects that the perpetrators are gangsters who often convoy on the road.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 27, in the morning, around 05.30 WIB. According to his confession, he often goes to work early in the morning.

As a result of the incident, his THR worth Rp. 4.4 million was lost. Ray said he took the THR money to buy family necessities, to buy clothes and food for iftar.

"It's a shock, yes. Second, it's sad, why should I experience it. Could there be a mistake or something. I also got beaten up. There were about five motorbikes and carrying sickles. The perpetrator was still a teenager," said Ray.
