Netray: The Wave Of Citizens' Rejection Of The Law To Create Work Continues To Roll

JAKARTA - Social media is still busy discussing the attitude of the DPR which has passed the draft Work Creation Act or the Omnibus Law. In addition to questioning the agenda for the ratification that seemed so hasty, the public was disappointed with the DPR's decision which was considered contrary to the people's vote in responding to the Job Creation Bill.

"The dominance of negative sentiment with more than 103 thousand accounts discussing the DPR. While the peak was seen on October 5, 2020, with total tweets reaching 195 thousand a day," wrote Netray.

Netizen disillusionment with the DPR decision has sparked a wave of anger on Twitter. It is not enough just to sound a vote of no confidence, netizens also cursed or cursed at the DPR.

Not only Twitter, a wave of rejection was also observed on the Instagram network. Netray also found various hashtags with narratives of rejection of the Controversial Omnibus Law.

It can be seen that the personal accounts of President Joko Widodo @jokowi, @dpr_ri and @puanmaharani are the most marked accounts by netizens regarding the topic of rejection of the Job Creation Law.

The number of netizen uploads voicing the aspirations of the people is not small. Until now, various hashtags related to the rejection of the Job Creation Law still adorn the world of social media, both Twitter and Instagram.
