VIDEO: Classic And Fun At The Taman Inscription Museum
JAKARTA - The Taman Prasasti Museum was originally a public burial place from the Dutch colonial era named Kebon Jahe Kober, built in 1795. In 1977, the burial place was inaugurated as a museum. The location is on Jalan Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. Taman Inscription is an open-air museum that displays works of art from the past. In the past, this land area reached 5.5 hectares, but now it has shrunk to 1.3 hectares. A number of officials and famous people from the Netherlands are buried at this location.
