Shoot Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez Convicted
JAKARTA - Rapper Tory Lanez was found guilty by Los Angeles prosecutors for two things: carrying a sharp weapon and carrying out an assault with a sharp weapon on Thursday, October 8.
He was charged with shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion in July. Previously, Stallion shared this case on his Instagram.
At that time, the two were arguing in the car after attending a party in the Hollywood Hills. After getting out of the car, Lanez shot Stallion in the leg with a pistol.
More than a month after the incident, Stallion refused to say who the shooter was but in the end he reported Tory Lanez.
“You shot me and you got publications and other people in lying. Stop lying. Why lie? I don't understand, "said the WAP singer on Instagram.
After that, the man whose real name was Daystar Peterson was arrested the next day for gun possession but nothing related to the incident.
Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion had to perform an operation to extract the bullet from inside her leg. He admitted that it was very painful.
On September 2, Lanez announced that he would release a statement regarding the incident but instead stated the release of his new album. As a result, netizens criticized Lanez's actions for exploiting the Megan incident to promote his music.
In the album, Lanez had accused Stallion of wanting to drop his career. But recent reports have found Tory Lanez guilty and face up to 23 years in prison.
