KPK Finds Rupiah Denomination During OTT, The Amount Is Still Counting

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found money during a hand arrest operation (OTT) that ensnared Bogor Regent Ade Yasin.

Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said the amount of money found was still being counted. However, he said the money was in rupiah denominations.

"During the arrest activity, money was also found in rupiah denominations, the amount of which is still being counted and confirmed to the arrested parties," Ali said in a written statement to reporters, Wednesday, April 27.

Ali said the number of parties caught in the silent operation was 12 people. They consisted of Bogor Regent Ade Yasin, officials and ASN in the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab), and several BPK representatives from West Java.

The legal status of the dozen people has not been explained. Because at this time those caught in OTT are still being investigated by the KPK task force team.

This arrest operation is related to bribery in the management of the findings of the Bogor Regency Government's financial statements. "Currently, all parties are still conducting marathon inspections and clarifications at the KPK's Red and White building," said Ali.

"Developments will be re-delivered," he added.

As previously reported, Bogor Regent Ade Yasin was caught by the KPK OTT which was held from Tuesday night, April 26 to Wednesday morning, April 27.

The KPK has 1x24 hours to determine who are the suspects in this case and the construction of the case. Announcements will be made via a press conference.
